Is Chuck Renewed or Not?
Rumors of Chuck’s renewal have been circulating the internet over the past few days. Twitter was abuzz this morning with unofficial news that the show was coming back. They were citing an article by LA Weekly’s Nikki Finke for which the headline read simply, “NBC Renews Chuck, Medium, Law & Order; Announcement on Monday.” The article consisted of only two lines – “That’s what sources are telling me. Expect a major renewals announcement from NBC on Monday.”
News from NBC was expected to come at tomorrow’s “infront” presentation, but multiple sources are saying that the announcement may be delayed.
According to a video posted by E! Online, Zachary Levi says he has been told we may have to wait another week or more before learning of Chuck’s fate. Levi also told EW’s Michael Ausiello that he felt confident about the show’s chances.
Variety says "signs are pointing to" a third season and The Hollywood Reporter says the show’s chances "have improved slightly."
The bottom line – don’t rejoice until we hear the words straight from Ben Silverman’s mouth.
Until then, keep the faith, and don’t stop trying to SAVE CHUCK!
