NBC Previews “Community” on Facebook
NBC is hoping to get the buzz started about their new comedy, Community, by bringing the show to Facebook.
In what could prove to be a smart move on NBC’s part, the network is streaming the pilot of Community commercial-free on Facebook. It is available to anyone who is a Facebook user and is willing to become a fan of Community. Facebook-ers can also send a link from the fan page to friends or place it on their Facebook profile.
You need to hurry though! Community is only available through tomorrow, Friday, August 14.
Community already has great buzz among critics. The show stars Joel McHale (The Soup) as Jeff Winger, a fast-talkin’ lawyer whose degree has been revoked. With some help from his fellow classmates, Winger forms a study group who eventually learn more about themselves than their course work.
Also starring are Chevy Chase (Chuck), Gillian Jacobs (The Book of Daniel), Yvette Nicole Brown (Rules of Engagement), Danny Pudi (Greek), Alison Brie (Mad Men), Donald Glover (30 Rock), and Ken Jeong (The Hangover).
The series premieres on NBC on Thursday, September 17th 9:30/8:30c
