Spoiler Roundup for April 24 – Heroes, LOST, Grey’s & More

Heroes:

I’ve heard that Heroes‘ Volume 4 ends with a major death. Any tease? — Eric
TV Guide’s Tim: You’re half-right. Of course, not everyone who dies stays dead. Except those who do. Also, look for one character to make a splashy return in Volume 5.

Brian in San Diego: Any scoop on who is the death that sticks in the season finale of Heroes?
E! Online:
Sources confirm to us that the Heroes death that sticks is male, and he’s someone you’ve definitely come to know quite well since season one. In many ways, the killer also dies, but you’ll just have to wait until next week to understand what that means.

Question: Please, please, please give us a hint about whom Sylar kills in Monday’s Heroes season finale! –Claire
Ausiello:
It’s a major character, and the death definitely sticks. But there is a twist. (Hint: It’s possible no one will be leaving the show.) BTW, the finale is fantastic. It’s compelling, suspense-filled and, most importantly, events occur consecutively and in the present day. Heroes is back, people!

Fringe, LOST, How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, Grey’s Anatomy and Pushing Daisies behind the cut!

No Grey’s Guest Role for Kaley Cuoco

THE BIG BANG THEORY Looks like Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco spoke too soon when she told reporters at Paley Fest that would be seen in the season finale of Grey’s Anatomy.

A rep for the actress announced yesterday that, due to scheduling conflicts with The Big Bang Theory (which incidentally has wrapped production already), Cuoco would be unable to guest star on the ABC medical drama.

It sounds to me (and to EW’s Michael Ausiello) that CBS was not happy about Cuoco’s role on the competing network.  We’ve seen similar network temper tantrums.  Earlier this year, NBC refused to allow Masi Oka (Heroes) and Sarah Lancaster (Chuck) to guest on the final episode of Scrubs.

Former O.C.-er Shannon Lucio will instead play the top-secret role that Cuoco was slated for.

Big Bang Theory Stars Hit the Talk Shows

Big Bang Theory star Kunal Nayyar (Kuthrapali) will be stopping to visit The Bonnie Hunt Show this Wednesday, April 22nd. To find out when the show airs in your area, check out www.bonniehunt.com.

Kunal will also appear on The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson on Wednesday night.

Also on Wednesday, Jim Parsons (Sheldon) will appear on CBS’ The Late Show with David Letterman and then will hit The View on Thursday, April 23.

Spoiler Roundup: Grey’s, Heroes, LOST, BBT, Smallville

Here’s a roundup of the latest spoilers from around the web:

Grey’s Anatomy

  • Everwood’s Debra Mooney, Gilmore Girls’ Liza Weil, and The Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco are slated to guest star in the show’s two-hour season finale on May 14.  Mooney will play mom to Kevin McKidd’s emotionally tormented Owen, while Weil will appear as a cancer patient who crosses paths with Izzie. Cuoco says she doesn’t know what her role will be.  "My guess is that I will be a patient of some kind," she continues. "I’m practicing my scared-sad-I’m-dying face."

  • It seems that Shonda Rimes is setting the stage for T.R. Knight’s exit.  As the season nears its end, George will not only (MAJOR SPOILER ALERT) march off to war, but he’ll be wounded in the line of duty.  "T.R. doesn’t know whether George lives or dies," explains a source close to the show. "And, as a result, he doesn’t know whether or not he has to come back next season."  Say it ain’t so!

  • Thatcher Grey returns and Sharon Lawrence guest stars as Izzie’s mom in the April 30 episode. The Chief and Thatcher finally come to blows, Thatcher invites Lexie and Mark to dinner, Izzie turns out to be a chip off the old block.

  • In the May 7 episode, supposedly groom-to-be Derek will give a wedding gift to Meredith: her first solo surgery.

  • Are Mer and Der the ones getting married in the 100th episode?  Maybe they are and maybe they aren’t.  Here’s some scoop from a Zap2It reader – One of my coworkers was in Los Angeles on business, and when I called her and told her about Grey’s filming the wedding scene, she freaked and found the set. She was there for the lunch break (she said there were two or three paps there too) but she said later Katherine Heigl was standing in the doorway with T.R. Knight, and she was smoking in a wedding dress. She had a big jacket/robe thing over it, but she said there was no doubt it was a wedding dress. She said Katherine was only in the doorway a minute or two before they called her back in, but she has no doubt that it was a wedding dress.

LOST, Heroes, Big Bang Theory and Smallville after the cut!
