That doesn’t mean that other shows such as Samantha Who?, Better Off Ted, The Unusuals and Castle have been canceled, it simply means they will have to wait until next month to learn their fate.
Spoiler Roundup for April 24 – Heroes, LOST, Grey’s & More
Heroes:
I’ve heard that Heroes‘ Volume 4 ends with a major death. Any tease? — Eric
TV Guide’s Tim: You’re half-right. Of course, not everyone who dies stays dead. Except those who do. Also, look for one character to make a splashy return in Volume 5.
Brian in San Diego: Any scoop on who is the death that sticks in the season finale of Heroes?
E! Online: Sources confirm to us that the Heroes death that sticks is male, and he’s someone you’ve definitely come to know quite well since season one. In many ways, the killer also dies, but you’ll just have to wait until next week to understand what that means.
Question: Please, please, please give us a hint about whom Sylar kills in Monday’s Heroes season finale! –Claire
Ausiello: It’s a major character, and the death definitely sticks. But there is a twist. (Hint: It’s possible no one will be leaving the show.) BTW, the finale is fantastic. It’s compelling, suspense-filled and, most importantly, events occur consecutively and in the present day. Heroes is back, people!
Fringe, LOST, How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, Grey’s Anatomy and Pushing Daisies behind the cut!
No Grey’s Guest Role for Kaley Cuoco
Looks like Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco spoke too soon when she told reporters at Paley Fest that would be seen in the season finale of Grey’s Anatomy.
A rep for the actress announced yesterday that, due to scheduling conflicts with The Big Bang Theory (which incidentally has wrapped production already), Cuoco would be unable to guest star on the ABC medical drama.
It sounds to me (and to EW’s Michael Ausiello) that CBS was not happy about Cuoco’s role on the competing network. We’ve seen similar network temper tantrums. Earlier this year, NBC refused to allow Masi Oka (Heroes) and Sarah Lancaster (Chuck) to guest on the final episode of Scrubs.
Former O.C.-er Shannon Lucio will instead play the top-secret role that Cuoco was slated for.
More Grey’s Anatomy End of Season Spoilers
Zap2It’s Korbi joined EW’s Michael Auseillo in devoting her entire column to Grey’s Anatomy this week. Here’s what she had to say:
Any scoop on Arizona/Callie? They’re my new favorite couple! -Olivia
When Callie’s father finds out about his daughter’s relationship with another woman, he doesn’t take it well. At all. In fact he cuts her off, both monetarily and emotionally. She’s devastated and considers telling her family that she ended things with Arizona just to get back on their good side.
Will we be seeing more George? I miss him. -Mimi
We’ll be seeing a lot more George in the next couple episodes. In fact, I’m pretty sure there’s more George screen time in the next two episodes than we’ve had all season. And he’s back to being the O’Malley we used to know: a kick ass surgeon. So that’s cool.
April 21 Spoiler Roundup - ‘Grey’s Anatomy’
This week’s Ask Ausiello is devoted completely to Grey’s Anatomy:
Question: Please tell me there’s some good stuff for the amazingly talented Sandra Oh and Kevin McKidd in the next two episodes of Greys. –HY Ausiello: This Thursday’s ep? Not so much. Next Thursday’s ep? Hell yes!
Question: I went to go see Guys and Dolls last week when I was in New York, but Lauren Graham wasn’t there! Can you make me feel better by giving me some Grey’s Anatomy scoop? –Troy Ausiello: These next two episodes are as solid as any I’ve seen this season. Most of my favorite moments involved Katherine Heigl, who as I Tweeted earlier today, is doing her best work since season 2.
Question: Give me some good Alex-Izzie scoop! –Nicole Ausiello: Izzie’s trashtastic mother (played by Sharon Lawrence) makes a memorable entrance on 4/30. (Hint: It involves a case of mistaken identity with her potential son-in-law).
Question: Izzie! Grey’s! Scoop! –Janine Ausiello: She’s cancer free by the second ep… or so someone close to her is led to believe.
‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Star Ellen Pompeo Expecting a Baby
People Magazine is reporting that Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo and her husband, Chris Ivery, are expecting a baby.
Pompeo, 39, and Ivery, 41, a music producer, were married by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg in a low-key ceremony in November 2007.
No word yet on a due date.
This isn’t the only pregnancy on the set of Grey’s this season. Pompeo’s on-screen sister, Chyler Leigh, and her husband, Nathan West, are also expecting their third child, a girl, in May.
